Growing Hannah and Jess gets shaved

Sarah Preston and I went to visit Hannah today and while we were there, Hunter and Amanda shaved their dog, Jess. It was a process that probably ended up taking at least 2 hours...6 years worth of thick, golden retriever fur is A LOT. I will put up a picture of her soon--she looked cute and comfortable as she could be while they shaved her.
It was naptime for Hannah after awhile, but I was able to take a few pictures before she slept. She's such a cute little chunk; I could squeeze her to death!!!!!! We tried to catch a smile, but my camera isn't fast enough. Soon enough she'll be smiling all the time :)

T sure enjoyed spending time with is GrandAnne and Grandaddy on Thursday night. Anne stayed with Anna and T while Tombo was out of town and Big Tom came over to see his sweet grandson. T loves to be held, so I gladly held him while they ate dinner and cleaned up!!!














T rested today after my mom and I went to visit this afternoon. He sure does enjoy a little swing time too.

Mom and I went to see Haley and Emory Anne for a quick visit. It was bath time, but only a sponge bath...Emory Anne wants her belly button to fall off so she can take a REAL bath. If she's anything like Hannah, she'll love it! You gotta love a naked little baby!!!

Missing Hannah

I haven't seen Hannah since Monday night and I wanted to get over there today or tomorrow, but Grandaddy told me that she's in Bethune all weekend with Hunter, Amanda and family. I can't wait to see her either Sunday when they get home or Monday....Aunt Caroline misses you :(

Haley & Gene's night out

Last night was Gene's first night out (I think) to Arthur's house for "guys night". Arthur cooked it up and from what I hear they drank it up too (gene not included!). But tonight was Gene and Haley's first night out together since they had Emory Anne. Walks, Gene, Haley and I went to Za's for dinner. Of course we ran into Emory Anne's Aunt Sara Bowers who thinks she just as precious as I do. We are already fighting over who gets to babysit!!!! Tonight Emory Anne had her favorite babysitters, GiGi and Papa!!!!

To T's house

I finally got to Anna and T's house yesterday. He was napping as usual...it will be amazing when I actually get to see these babies when they're awake! Of course he was a precious little angel though- the sound of sleeping is much better than the sound of crying! I tried to get a few pictures when he briefly woke up so I got some "waking up" faces.

Quick Visit to Haley and Emory Anne's house

This summer cold is about to kill me; I had to at least stop by Haley's house to see she and Emory Anne yesterday. I still didn't hold her, but took a few pics. Haley is looking as good as ever...would we expect anything less?! Emory Anne had been sleeping for hours when I got there and Haley was about to feed her and try to keep her up for as long as possible. She's getting a little better with her sleep patterns...probably because Uncle William left and he wasn't going to be around to entertain her all night. She's so smart. I'm including one picture from Saturday night with William, Maggie and Mom all looking at the little sleeper. The others are from yesterday's quick visit.

Monday night: Family night @ the Suggs

As most of you know, family night is most Monday nights at Mom and Dad's house. Hannah came over having been an angel all day for her mom, but then got a little fussy. Grandaddy held her and put her in her swing and she was perfectly content. Thanks for calming me down Grandaddy...I'll just look at you now with my big sweet eyes!




She fell asleep after awhile and Uncle Walks held her...this is all new to him, but I think he really enjoys all these new babies in his life. He thinks they're fun to play with and talk to, but then he gets to say "bu-bye". Uncle Walks thinks your cute with your little hand by your face. I wasn't able to hold her because of a summer cold I have, but in due time I will be picking all of these babies back up...I'm having withdrawals!!!

Sleep much?

Emory Anne spent her night with The Mote family and extended family over at GiGi and Papa's house. By the time Aunt Caroline got there is was about time to leave so I only got pictures while she was sleeping, but from the sound of it, she was sleeping all night.
Mom (Haley) says she likes to sleep from 12pm to 12am and then she's up all night--getting her days and nights confused does not help Mom get much sleep at all!
Uncle William was a little "slow" last night as he also has his days and nights confused...up all night, sleep all day?! William is utilizing every last minute he has in South Carolina before he goes back to NYC on Monday. Emory Anne loves her Uncle William and thinks that maybe he can stay up with her since he's accustomed to that and let Mom sleep.

Hannah has grown up sooo much since last time I saw her which was almost 2 weeks ago. Thank you Amanda for letting me spend so much time with her today. She is cooing and smiling now...it's amazing how fast they grow up!

Aunt Caroline's Babies

So most of you know that on May 30th I became an aunt for the first time to Hannah Elizabeth Suggs (Hunter and Amanda's precious little girl). Then just 6 weeks later on July 12th, I became an "Aunt" again to Emory Anne Bell (Gene and Haley's precious little girl). And to round out the group, I became Aunt Caroline to Thomas Otto Milliken III "T" (Anna and Tombo's precious little boy) on July 15th. This is my blog to keep everyone updated on "my" babies until I have one of my own to update you on!
A little about my new family:
Hannah- born Tuesday, May 30th, 6lbs 4ozs and looking just like her Dad (but she does have Amanda's ears)!!
Emory Anne- born Wednesday, July 12th, 7lbs and looking like a mix of Mom and Dad.
T- born Saturday, July 15th, 7lbs 1oz and to me looks like his Dad...I might report back with a different opinion after my visit with them today.
I just love all my new babies :)!!!!!
