Mom's Birthday Party

So this is what happens when a baby shows up at your birthday party...they steal the show!!! It's much more fun taking pictures of babies than it is taking pictures of adults- so here are a few from last Friday night.

Virginia Grace Laney

I can't believe I haven't posted about sweet little Virginia Grace since she was born over a month ago now!! But as you all know, I've been very slack with my posts. I just received this picture from Jeff this morning and am so glad to see what a precious little girl she is! Her birthday was May 25th and from what I hear, things have been going really well for Jeff and Kimberly and I look forward to meeting Virgina Grace very soon.

Baby Update

So, I'm in my 14th week now and just had my third doctor's appointment this morning. Everything is looking good- heartbeat in the 150s (I don't have a clue what that means) and I've only gained a few pounds- I will quit reporting on that when I don't like the number anymore! My next appointment will be in 4 weeks when most people find out what they are having- we will not be finding out, so it will be the fun appointment to see the baby and how it's developing.
I'm almost done with the morning sickness, which by the way, is not just a morningtime event...it's all day! But the nauseous moments are few and far between these days, so that is the most exciting part of the pregnancy right now :)
I'll report back in 4 weeks!!!

Haley's Birthday Party

Haley's birthday was June 5th and we celebrated at GiGi and Papa's house that night. Of course because I had the camera, there are only pictures of babies, no adults...sorry Haley!

We had fun and wish you a happy birthday again!!!!! 25th birthday that is :)

Hannah's Birthday Party

We celebrated Hannah's birthday the Saturday after her birthday. I only got pics of her with her smash cake, but she and all of the other babies had a great time! Here she is when they sang happy birthday and gave her the cake... I'll give it a few pokes...Mmmm, this is good, but I think it's getting a little late and I'm starting to get fussy.

Today is Hannah's FIRST birthday--our sweet, precious little girl is turning 1 today...I can't believe it! It has been such a joy to have Hannah in my life over the past year and I know Hunter and Amanda can't even decribe how much she has changed their lives! She is such a joy for everyone :) In the words of Mimi, "What did we talk about before we had Hannah?!"

I know how long it's been since I've posted and I feel so bad! I have neglected my neices and nephew!!!! Below is a pic from over a month ago when we went out to Woodcreek one Sunday afternoon and grilled hamburgers and hot dogs. The time has come to tell you that I can not only write about all the other babies in my life, but my own. Walks and I are expecting our first baby to be due December 17th. We are so excited to be able to share this news and can't wait for our little Christmas baby to arrive! We have been married 2 years today and can't think of any better way to celebrate this day than telling our friends and family that we are expecting. More pregnancy posts to come...I can say after this past month, I can sympathize with everyone I know who has been pregnant before, it's definitely like nothing else I've ever felt!
I promise I've got some other things to post from the past few weeks, sorry I've been slack, but sleep has been more important than blogging. I'll get on it asap!! I'll keep everyone posted.

Addie Coffer

Hunter and Brie welcomed Addelina "Addie" Brie Coffer into the world Wednesday, April 18th at 9:03 p.m. She weighed 6lbs 9ozs and is 18 1/2 in. long. She has such a sweet little face and we can't wait to meet her!! CONGRATULATIONS!

I finally got to see KiKi and Jackson last Friday afternoon. It looked like they were both doing great and I'm so glad I finally got to meet him! He is just a little doll- I can't wait to get to hold him again soon!

Sally was baptized this morning at the 6:00 a.m. service @ Trinity. Needless to say, Aunt C didn't quite make that one! But Marzy, SP and Sally came by afterwards for a few pics. What a good looking family!

Tricks...

G-daddy and GrandAnne went to see T on Thursday night for a visit. Of course Walks was nowhere to be found, so I went for a visit too. If T isn't trying to stand up, he's crawling all over the place! He pulls up a lot and of course at the corner of the glass table!

T is such a smart baby- I can really see how advanced he is and how much Anna and Tombo work with him to get him to learn new things. I love you T and all your "tricks" too!

Hannah enjoyed some cheese tonight at our house. They came over to eat some homemade pizza with us tonight. Hannah had her own version of pizza...just cheese.Open wide How much do you think I can shove in?

Happy birthday to Brantley Stallworth Hodges and Evelyn Trantham Bruner!!! Wow, we've been friends for over 15 years now and I haven't seen them in such a long time, but hope they had great birthdays and are having fun in Beaufort and Charleston.

The Zoo

Sarah Preston, Sally, Haley, Emory Anne, Anna, T and I all headed for the zoo yesterday. We enjoyed ourselves for awhile, but I think we realized we made a big mistake. It is apparently spring break for some schools and it was PACKED!!! Our first clue should have been when we had to park at the very end of the parking lot when we got there. It was literally a zoo :) at the zoo! Below are 3 of the 5 pictures I was able to take.

I think we'll come back another day in the next few months...early in the morning and not during any school holidays! Isn't the giraffe so cute?!
