We had to wake William up at 8:30 on his birthday--he's usually up around 8:00 but he must have known to sleep in because it was his special day.
So happy to see Mama, Daddy and Willie. He loves to see everybody in the morning!
Here is one of the two loveys that William loves to sleep with. I'm surprised he wasn't holding both of them, but he was just too excited that morning!
Breakfast time: pizza. We figured it was his birthday and that pizza would be a good treat. He loved it!

Since William's birthday party wasn't until the 20th, I decided to bake cupcakes for William to have on his real birthday. 
Testing it out to see if he'll like it.
He couldn't get enough of it! 
He would have eaten all of them if we had let him!

William got a toy doggie from Aunt Susan and Uncle Rick that was too cute.
He did have a great 1st birthday and we loved celebrating with just the three of us that night. Happy happy birthday!!! 
I look forward to our next year together. We will encounter many new adventures together as a family and I am so excited about what your next year has to bring us.
